Espresso
A concentrated form of coffee, where highly pressurised water is pushed through tightly compacted coffee grounds. Espresso’s are served hot, in a small cup and forms the base of numerous other hot beverages.
Americano
1 or 2 shots of Espresso poured into a cup, to which hot water is added. This hot beverage is normally enjoyed black, but hot or cold milk can be added.
Latte
1 or 2 shots of Espresso served in a tall glass, to which hot milk is added.
Affogato
1 to 2 shots of espresso added over your favourite vanilla ice cream.
Piccolo Latte
One of Australia’s favourites hot drinks, which is made with 1 or 2 shots of Ristretto topped up with steam milk in a short glass or cup. If you are wondering what a Ristretto is, it is the first portion of an espresso shot.
Mocha
Add 1 shot of Espresso to your cup, mixed with chocolate, cocoa powder or syrup. Top your cup up with hot milk and add chocolate sprinkles on top for fun.
Flat White
Add one shot of Espresso and top up the rest of your cup with steamed milk (1/3 Espresso and 2/3 steamed milk).
